SIMPLY PUT,ALL DEXTER TRADITIONAL KNIVES ARE EXCELLENT. ALTHOUGH THIS IS A FISH KNIFE,I'M NO FISHERMAN. I USE THIS KNIFE IN KITCHEN. MOST RECENTLY FOR REMOVING LAYER OF FAT FROM A BEEF BRISKET. NO POINT MAKES SUCH WORK EASIER. PRICE SERVICE FROM FISH BONE MAKES ME A REPEAT CUSTOMER. THANX

Perfect Fish Knife
The knife works wonders when trying to get all the meat you can off the bone. If you start cutting at the fish's dorsal fin it cuts down the backbone like a zipper. The only bad thing I can say is that when the knife arrived i did have to spend a few minutes sharpening it. Once sharp it cuts through a fish like butter. This is my new favorite fish cleaning knife.

Great Fillet Knife
When I was a boy (I'm 73 now), I used to work at a fish house in Florida. We sold all kinds of fish to the public and everyone of us who worked there, used this kind of knife to fillet the fish we sold, or caught ourselves. There is no better fillet knife. It'll take an edge so sharp you can shave with it! It handles so much easier than those new, long bladed knives. That is critical for a good fillet knife. It seems they have quit selling them around here, and I was so happy to find them online. I already owned one that I purchased years ago, and didn't really need the two new ones I ordered, but I just couldn't pass them up. I plan to hold them and give them to my friends as presents. No doubt those "old timers" will be tickled to get one!
