FIRST, I'M NO FISHERMAN.THIS KNIFE WILL BE USED FOR FOOD PREP IN KITCHEN. GOT THIS TO REPLACE PARING KNIVES. THIS KNIFE HAS LARGER HANDLE THAN OTHER KNIVES OF IT'S SIZE, MAKES IT MORE CONTROLABLE (IS THERE SUCH A WORD) WHEN WORKING. SHAPE OF BLADE MAKES CUTTING SMALL ITEMS EASY. NOTE: IT'S CARBON STEEL SO BE PREPARED TO TREAT THE BLADE ACCORDINGLY. ALSO, IT IS A DEXTER RUSSELL GREEN RIVER KNIFE WHICH SAYS IT ALL. DELIVERED SUPER SHARP AND DELIVERED VERY FAST. FISH BONE, YOUR GREAT!!!
